Default VB 2008 databases under Windows 7

Re: Visual Basic 2008 in 24 Hours. Chapter 21, Working with a Database. Get an error when running the project (bottom of p476), both mine and that downloaded from the InformIT website. The error is "A first chance exception of type 'System.InvalidOperationException' occurred in System.Data.dll". I am running this through Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition under Windows 7. Have run it on my Vista machine without a problem. What do I have to do to get this to run under Windows 7?
